Job Description:

This is a full time (0.8-1.0), day shift Physical Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant position in the Inpatient Therapies Department.

Responsible for any duties related to the physical therapy care of patients being treated in the acute hospital setting. One will be working primarily with adult patients on the intensive care, medical /surgical and outpatient extended stay units. This includes evaluation, program planning, consultation, and treatment of patients. It also includes the necessary documentation, communication and attendance at meetings as well as any other task within the department as assigned by persons responsible.

Minimum Required:

  • Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Licensed as a physical therapist in the State of Montana.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Comfortable with public speaking.
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills. Basic computer skills. Must obtain BLS for Healthcare Provider within 3 months of hire. Preferred/Desired: Prefer one year of acute care experience.

    Weekend Requirements: Will be part of the weekend and holiday rotation.
